We proudly stock Paul Mitchell hair products at Enzo's because the brand has always been dedicated to making our world a more beautiful place. Paul Mitchell supports Reforest'Action, Water Keeper Alliance and they are also cruelty free in efforts to care for our planet.
Reforest'Action is an environmental organisation that plants trees worldwide where they most need it. Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Rooted in Green project has a commitment to plant 750,000 trees by the end on 2019. They have plots in Peru, Haiti and California planting Cocoa nut and Maya nut trees which help to remove green house gas emissions and battle deforestation. The project also commits to conserving the worlds rainforests. Did you know, rainforests contain more than half of the worlds plants and animals? So it's pretty great that they are doing so much to look after these beautiful places.
Another organization Paul Mitchell have been dedicated to in attempts to protect the worlds many amazing places is Waterkeeper Alliance. This environmental movement is devoted to protecting ecosystems, communities and waterways. Waterkeeper Alliance protects over 1.5 million square miles of waterways by bringing together 200 waterkeeper organizations. Paul Mitchell have supported them for over 10 years now.
One thing Paul Mitchell never has and never will do is test on animals. They have been cruelty free for 38 years and were the first professional beauty company to actually stand up against animal testing in 1980. Last year John Paul DeJoria, Paul Mitchell Co-founder, also made the decision to stop selling their products in China where animal testing became mandate.
At Enzo's we have now decided to provide our own arrangements to reduce less wastage and be as environmentally friendly as we can be. We will shortly be introducing a new system that allows you to come in with your empty shampoo and conditioner bottles and we shall refill them from a much larger container that we shall also be sending back to Paul Mitchell to refill for us too! This will mean you and we will no longer have to chuck our plastic containers away again.
Another thing we have started to do is give away our disposable white hair towels. We only
use them once to dry hair and we don't use them again on our clients. We find they are quite useful for cleaning around the salon but there is only so many we can reuse! They are 100% biodegradable but it would be a shame for them to only be used one. So if you have any uses for them then please feel free to come and help yourself.
I shall keep you updated on Facebook, Instagram and in the salon for when we will be providing our refillable Paul Mitchell products, I promise it will not be long!
